I heard something that was lamely funny lately.
Apparently, HCI ppl have been spelling words like "hi" and "fail" wrongly.
Less of wrongly, more of screwed-up-ly.

Ok, let me explain slowly.
I've been a (relatively) good girl this year so normally, i would be going "Yay! There's a PTM. Most likely when mum/ dad comes home, i will get some-random-reward-that-varies-according to-the-level-of-good-conduct-comments-by-my-formteacher!"
Not this year. Because of a little book called a report book.
That my parents will be getting tomorrow during said PTM.
Normally, I wouldn't have trouble with this either. You see, my only subject that really sucked beyond all reason was chinese (which was to be expected because no one in my house speaks chinese much). So, my parents didn't mind.
But it just so happens that this year my marks plunged by... well alot.
My second favourite subject ended up with a B3. (noooo!)
My first and third fave subjects got A2.
My combined humans, thankfully got A2. ( I hate history. stupid history, pull my geog marks down.)
and you don't want to know the last mark, the mark-for-my-least-fave-subject .
I got B for art. Not bad considering that only one of my art pieces actually looked nice/ i actually put in ridiculously large amt. of effort into it.

Yo ppl!
Juz came back from camp. Well...not so "just", more of quite a while.
Anyway,camp was fun i guess. But dam tiring.Now got sore throat from cheering. teachers tell us to cheer, we cheer lor. Then climb up mount faber in the rain. Floor so dam slippery + must carry umbrella, dam dao mei lor. Juz so happen must rain...
Then the pool activities.Looked exciting but i couldn't swim coz i wrote that i was a non-swimmer.(actually can swim ,but only short dist.)the last game every1 (tried to)pile onto a block of styrofoam.ppl keep falling off and into the pool.
then yesterday nite got talenttime. My class ended up going first. We were doing a dance item to "Toxic" by britney spears.Quickly get onto stage,dance then "cong" back off. very scary.
Oh ya, the crowd was "whoo"ing like crazy when sara started doing gymnastics. nice one sara
!
Then @ night, everyone was watching 公主小妹 or some other thing called "Magicians of Love" on the projector. I only watched 公主小妹 coz i heard wuzun was in it and wanted to see how well the person sherry idolised acted. He's actually really good @ it.
For some reason, my class didn't have insects in it.(yes,insects meaning cockcroaches...yuck)
nice job one fivers!
Time to go now. Got to go study for block test. my progress report isn't very nice looking (come on, i failed cl compre...)

I warn you that only the 6G'07 peeps will get the joke about last year's teacher, and this year's one ,only the one-fivers will get it.
I will explain.
Somehow, since last year, I had at least one teacher who cannot pronounce. And both teach the same subject.(you should know what subject i'm talkin abt...)
LOL.
Anyway, they butcher our names.
Names butchered so far:
-2007:Bel,Mel,Kel (more of nicknames if you ask me)
-2008: Quite a few.(Definitely more than three)
Oh well...
Just had Student Investiture yesterday. Boring lah, but got to pawn chinese compo. yay!
anyway, progress report coming out soon.
Got the odd feeling that this time my best subject will be Maths. :(
Not that it's a bad thing, but i want lang arts(eng+lit) to be the best. very sad rite.

Maths
Science
Lang arts and chinese tie @ 3rd place.
Maths: everything above 75% (estimated lah)
Science: everything above 60% (also estimate)
Lang Arts:
-screwed SIA, probably failed or just passed (storytelling.) Curse stage-fright.
-Presentation for book cart: screwed up also. (i was swaying, nvr stand properly, no power in voice) Surprisingly, i got marks for my pace. Apparently I was speaking slowly enough for the teach to understand me.
-personal recount: tenses got completely messed up. shit.
Chinese:
-Just passed letter-writing
-Failed the compres
-passed the compos with 45+ or 50+ ( low 50+), hopefully that pulls my marks up...
Oh well, must work harder on CL compre and presentations...
Maths must keep marks at that level, especially for common test(mini version of CA1).
No calculator allowed leh! gonna die lah.
Science must do better. Must memorise table of elements, if not sure die one.
Gotta do my homework.

Hi ppl,
Just got Lang Arts Story-telling SIA marks back ,not confirmed yet, thank god, it's damn low. (Don't ask, it's low enough to be a failing mark.)
Never thought I'd fail for anything in english. Won't tell my mom till the progress report comes out. I shall just hope and pray that my lang arts teach is nice enough to make my marks a bit higher...
Also screwed up the CME presentation. Got so nervous, forgot like, almost the entire script...
Anyway, school is still ok but the homework is piling up. Teachers are ok but I don't get some stuff. I'm doing fine for all the tests, haven't failed any yet but the marks aren't excellent either.
Secondary school is sooo much harder than primary sch.
Very sian leh, life is like its recorded, playing over and over again. The stuff the teacher teaches, what they say during assembly changes, but that's not enough. I want some excitement, like in primary school. Sadly, we can't create some fun without getting punished/ demerit points. Geez, why so strict ah?
Time to start on the homework.
